About Us
Colourbox Nursery is a small home-from-home setting offering premium quality childcare to children in a warm and happy environment where they can grow and learn individually and as part of a diverse community.
A new management took over Colourbox Nursery in January 2021 and in March 2023, we had our first inspection and gained a 'Good' award from Ofsted.
We acknowledge the foundation stage of a child's life is very crucial, therefore an outstanding care and education plays a vital role in their development.
We are opened Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
Our Services
Our primary aim is to provide a safe and caring environment to children and help them to develop a positive relationships with other children and adults.
We plan stimulating activities that support children to learn about their well-being, skills, emotions, vocabulary, friendships, opportunities, trial and error, mathematic skills, and sensory skills all of which will support children in later life.
Our Ethos
At Colourbox Nursery, we strive to create a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where every child feels physically and emotionally safe.
Colourbox Nursery works towards supporting children so they can develop a strong and positive sense of themselves.We give children the opportunity to feel confident, speak and have their own opinions valued.
We promote 'British Values' which lays emphasis on tolerance and a democratic society where freedom of speech lives comfortably alongside respect for all. Children at Colourbox Nursery are thought and shown fun ways we promote British Values and this is impeded in our activities.
